Special Order $500...and waiting
 

Last Saturday I put $500 to special order a GT that just didn't exist in any western state with the options I wanted....the waiting period is just so so challenging for I'm just massively excited!!

This will be my first mustang, and I'm coming from owning a 2005 Subaru STI since new!

So I built what I feel is my own lil Steve McQueen Bullitt tribute - '16 GT with the gt performance package - I'll shortly after put on the black emblems around the car - when the car is delivered I'm having the dealer install a GT350 steering wheel, roush performance axle back exhaust and a k&n drop in air filter...I can't wait for that drive home!!

Also, I looked up the plate on McQueen's '68 fastback in the movie Bullitt, to my surprise the old 60's style California black plates, JJZ 109 was available...and I bought it for the Mustang!! So so cool.....be it McQueen is the king of cool!!

Ironically, my dealer will not install any after market items, says it voids the warranty?

Does it void the warranty though? I've never heard that, but I guess it makes sense. I never modded a brand new car.
